FISCo FMIPA UNM Holds Takjil Sharing and Breaking the Fast Together in Ramadan 2025

Makassar, 22 March 2025 – The holy month of Ramadan is a special moment to strengthen togetherness and share with others. In the spirit of caring and togetherness, the FMIPA International Class Program Community (FISCo) of Makassar State University (UNM) held a takjil sharing activity on the street and breaking the fast together on Saturday, 22 March 2025.

The Spirit of Sharing Takjil on the Road
This activity began with a social action of sharing takjil to the community around the Makassar area. Dozens of FISCo members took to the streets to distribute iftar food to motorists, pedestrians, daily workers, and people in need. The takjil consisted of a variety of snacks and refreshing drinks to help quench thirst and restore energy after a long day of fasting.

This takjil distribution is not just a social activity, but also a form of concern and gratitude for the blessings of Ramadan. FISCo members hope that by sharing, they can spread happiness and strengthen the values of empathy in the community.

Breaking the Fast Together: A Moment of Gathering and Togetherness
After sharing takjil, the activity continued with breaking the fast together which was attended by FISCo members, lecturers, alumni, and other invited guests. This event was an opportunity for all participants to gather, talk, and strengthen friendship in an atmosphere full of warmth and kinship.

In addition to enjoying iftar dishes, this event was also filled with various inspirational activities, such as:
✨ Ramadan Study – A reflection session on the meaning of fasting and the importance of sharing in everyday life.
✨ Prayer and Tausiyah – Enhancing spirituality and deepening religious understanding in this blessed month.
✨ Sharing Session – An opportunity for FISCo members to share their experiences and hopes while fasting in an academic environment.

This activity received a very positive response from the participants. Many of them feel happy to be involved in this social action and gain valuable experience in sharing and staying in touch.

πŸ’¬ β€˜This activity is very memorable for me, not only because I can share with others, but also because the togetherness is getting closer,’ said one of the participants.

Through this event, FISCo hopes to continue to foster a culture of kindness and caring within FMIPA UNM. Activities like this not only strengthen family ties between community members, but also instil a spirit of sharing that can be kept alive, even after Ramadan is over.

πŸŽ‰ Thank you to all committees, participants, and volunteers who have contributed to the success of this event! May the blessings of Ramadan always be with us all.
